Christmas is a-coming!

So here we are about to celebrate our 2nd Christmas at Chandos Arms. The tree is up, decorated by my father-in-law, the log fire is roaring and the bookings are flooding in. Fingers crossed, we will be having a very busy month. Also my 40th birthday is on Christmas Eve, OMG, I can't belive I'm going to be the big 4-0. I still feel like i'm 15, well I suppose everyone does.

There's been some issues with our flat above the pub. The roof is leaking in Saxon's bedroom and we've had to move him into our room whilst the Star Repairs team tackle the problem. One of the good things about working in partnership with Star is that it's their responsibility to fix the building, which, as it's over 100 years old, is quiet a commitment.

I’ve realised that I need to try and find more time for myself next year! I’m booking myself into a two day spa for a little B day pressie to myself. I’ve never done that before. There’s a first for everything.
